“What’s EST week?” you ask? Since Huggies wipes are the thickEST* wipes to keep poo messes under control, Huggies is focusing on the -EST this week. For example, on the Huggies facebook page, they asked “what’s the FunnEST thing you’ve done with your little one?” So in celebration of EST week, I’m going to share some of our -EST moments with you!
My ScariEST moment: I always felt too immature to be a parent, and when Rayna was born was no exception! I ended up having a c-section with Rayna, and while my husband and I were waiting in front of the curtain for Rayna to be “born” we suddenly heard a loud baby’s cry. The look of terror on both of our faces as we looked at each other was hysterical. We thought “oh my gosh, this is for real!!”
My SilliEST moment: Many moments with Rayna are silly ones, she’s quite a commedienne. If she is doing something that is making someone laugh, she’s going to continue to do it over and over again. And the silliest thing she’s said to me lately? She was goofing and I was laughing, and she said “Mommy…I’m funny, right?!” She knows it!
My GuiltiEST moment: I wouldn’t be a mommy if I wasn’t occasionally plagued my “mommy guilt.” I’ve felt guilt over leaving for conferences, going on a date with Daddy, etc. but I’ll never forget the one time I was so exasperated with my teething baby, I couldn’t WAIT for naptime. As I hurried out of her room, she said it: “I You”. I love you. The first time my baby said I love you and there I was dying for an hour of quiet!
My cutEST moment: Well…how could I pick just one? But one of my favorites was when Rayna was just learning how to talk and she’d fill in the spaces between words she could say with something that sounded like ”buja buja”. One day I was driving with Rayna in the car and I hear her having an intense conversation: “HI! Buja buja buja….YES, buja buja…” There she was holding her hand up to her ear like it was a cell phone and having her own little first words conversations. I wish I had videotaped some of the buja bujas!
My yuckiEST moment: Well, we are talking about poo after all, right? My yuckiest moment just happened recently. I smelled that Rayna had a really gross poo happening, but I was trying to wait until I knew it was “complete”. I was picking up some dishes and I forgot about the poo for a minute. Rayna walks up to be with brown stuff on two fingers and says “eww, yucky!” Yup. She stuck her fingers IN the diaper. It was time for some Huggies wipes and a nice long bath!

hahaha, I loved reading your “EST” moments especially the one about the two fingers in poo LOL…My ickyEST moment was when Alyssa had to go to the bathroom and TJ was playing baseball at a field that had no bathrooms. The nearest potty was in the woods (eek), but there was no time to waste. We ran into the woods where she handled her business and luckily I always carry a plastic baggy of Huggies Wipes (because of their thickness and durability) and we were able to clean her right up as if she were in a real potty!!!
Hey peeps back in the day did it and they had no Huggies wipes!

My most amazingEST ( does that count ?) moment was holding Bailey for the first time and wondering how this tiny little perfect person with 10 fingers and 10 toes grew inside of me.

FunniEST- My poor daughter Renae was constipated, I’m trying to keep her calm on the toilet and she starts screaming, ” CALL 911, CALL DR DAN “(Dr Daniel Foran our belved pediatrician) I had to leave the bathroom because I couldn’t keep a straight face..if you were wondering yes I used a Huggies wipe to clean her little bottom after the “emergency”
IckiEST moment involves a Porta Potty and my precious angel Renae, she had just gotten out of diapers and we were at my son’s track meet. She says “Mommy pee pee” and does the universal sign for I GOTTA GO (crossed legs while crouching) The Porta Potty was like a mile away. I said “ok but we have to walk all the way over there” She says “ok” and we trek over I open the door to the Porta Potty and it’s GROSS, the look on her face was priceless she calmly said “Mommy don’t have to go no more” Maybe if I had some Huggies wipes I could have cleaned up the seat!!! Note to self: take Huggies wipes everywhere!!
