Menu Plan Monday – Two weeks worth

Happy Monday!  As much as I begrudged putting up last week’s menu plan, it actually really helped me out and the new recipes were good ones.  The slow cooker chicken pot pie was yummy, I just subbed out heavy cream for cream cheese and biscuits for pastry because I was just not feeling very classy ;)   The ranch chicken lasagna (of Pinterest fame) was as good as everyone says it is–my in-laws ate it all up without any passive aggressive comments like “this is actually pretty good”  HA!

So I decided to try something new this week and make my plan for two weeks in a row.  It was also pretty easy since the last few days of the 2nd week are Memorial Day weekend and that’s pretty much just a lot of grilling at the shore (hooray!!)  So here goes:

Week one:

Monday – Rotisserie chicken & sides (ok, I didn’t do this last week.  We went out to Cosi instead–I had a bad case of the Mondays!!) ;)

Tuesday – Family favorite egg noodle soup (from 101 Things to Do With Meatballs)

Wednesday – Chicken tacos

Thursday – Baked tilapia

Friday – Pizza

Saturday – Out

Sunday – Hot dogs & hamburgers

Week two:

Monday – Pizza meatloaf (I actually have one of these in the freezer from the last time I made two)

Tuesday – Slow cooker pork chops – the easiest thing in the world

Wednesday – Penne vodka with peas

Thursday – Creamy Italian chicken in the slow cooker (I know it uses a can of cream soup, but this is my fave!)

Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Memorial Day weekend!!  So grilling and going out to eat, yay!

PS – I am going to put up a post about summer meals, since I’m in need of some that don’t heat up the whole house, especially for the beach house.  So if you have any to share, let me know and I’ll add yours!  And link to you, of course :D   Thanks!
