Hi!

I’m Bay.  Welcome to my little home on the web!  I’m a stay-at-home mom of two, living in South NJ (Philly area).  When I first started blogging I had a lofty goal to help others save money while I learned the ropes of having a family on one income.  The blogosphere was growing by leaps and bounds after I started my site and I realized that the “extreme couponing” was best left to experts or at least people who had a bit more time to blog about it   So now I’m here, blogging about myself, family, food, tv and my many other pursuits (like genealogy, antiques, or general geekery).

Why the Queen Mother?  The reason is way less pretentious than it sounds.  My little girl Rayna’s name means ‘queen’ in Spanish, so I like to think of her as my little queen.  And I’ve always had a cheeky little interest in the real queen mum, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. If you’re very interested you can check out my post about it all here.
