Hi!

I’m Bay.  I’m a twenty-something mom in South NJ (Philly area).  I first started this blog to help others in my own journey of saving money and staying home as a first-time mom.  The blogosphere was growing by leaps and bounds after I started my site and I realized that the “extreme couponing” was best left to experts or at least people who had a bit more time to blog about it   So now I’m here, blogging about myself, family, food, tv and my many other pursuits. 

Why the Queen Mother?  The reason is way less pretentious than it sounds.  My little girl Rayna’s name means ‘queen’ in Spanish, so I like to think of her as a little queen rather than the ever-popular ‘princess’.  And I’ve always had a cheeky little interest in the real queen mum, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. If you’re very interested you can check out my post about it all here.
